What is a Clone?

A clone is an identical copy of a sprite created while the program is running. Clones look and behave just like the original sprite — they share the same costumes, size, and scripts — but each clone can do things independently.

Real-life analogy: Think of a clone like a photocopier. You put one page in and press Copy → you get multiple identical copies, each of which you can write on separately.

Why use clones? Without clones you would need to manually duplicate sprites for every bullet, enemy, snowflake or particle. Clones let one sprite become many automatically.

Key rule: The ORIGINAL sprite is the "parent". Clones are the "children". When you delete the parent, all clones are deleted too.
